For over 20 years NZ Management magazine has collected important financial information on New Zealand’s largest businesses. The Top 200 Companies list has become one of the New Zealand business community’s most highly respected sources of information. Compiled in association with Deloitte, the list shows how companies rise and fall in the face of an ever-changing business environment, along with old favourites steadily making up an important part of the New Zealand business scene. Each year the team at NZ Management magazine writes to 1000 of New Zealand’s top companies to collect the information needed for this project. Annual reports from each are reviewed and the process is overseen by Deloitte. As the list is pulled together, judges review the results looking for their award-winning shortlist, with the final results released at a black-tie celebration of New Zealand’s best.
